SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — At some point between 1:00 and 2:30 in the morning on July 23, an E-bike was stolen from where it had been left leaning against a fence by a residence on Madison Street. The E-bike was described as a black Talaria XXX, with no front fender and a yellow headlight, valued at $3,500. Police are investigating. People often speak wistfully about young people being the future of this country. They certainly are — but let’s take a moment to recognize that the next few decades are actually going to belong to senior citizens.
